Man Killed in Kensington Car Accident
Sheepshead Bay resident Salmir Gutic was killed on East 8th Street and Avenue I on Monday night.
A Sheepshead Bay resident was killed Monday night when another car collided with his on East 8th Street and Avenue I.
According to police, 34-year-old Salmir Gutic was attempting to make a lefthand turn onto westbound Avenue I from East 8th Street, when his grey 2001 Mercedes Benz was struck by a tan 1997 Mercedes Benz heading eastbound on Avenue I.
Police responded to accident at 9:31 p.m. Gutic was transported to New York Community Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.

Both vehicles remained on scene, and no criminality is suspected. An investigation remains ongoing.
