A sexual assault—reminiscent of those that roiled the area —occurred in Park Slope Wednesday morning.

According to police, the attack took place around 5:20 a.m. on 16th Street between 4th and 5th avenues. Witnesses told police that a female had been groped in the "front midsection" by a Hispanic male.

According to officers in the 72nd Precinct, the victim was not on the scene when police arrived, though the initial caller claimed to know where she was, and that they would go get her.
