Seeds for Saplings

Learning in the garden for children ages 3-5, led by Min Lee

Sunday, April 15th, 1:30-2:15 pm in the Compost for Brooklyn garden, on the corner of Newkirk Avenue and East 8th St. in Brooklyn.

Children (and their adults if necessary) plant and decorate their own miniature herb/vegetable gardens. Then, we’ll peek around the compost piles and explore the garden, learning about how to keep the earth happy.

RSVPs help us out, but you are welcome either way: compostforbrooklyn@gmail.com

Don’t forget—you can also visit the garden Sundays from 1:00 to 4:00pm to drop off food scraps, learn how the compost system works, and help in the garden!
