Turn Winter's Wrath into Cash at Prospect Park

The park is looking for some workers to help shovel snow on Friday.

Prospect Park is looking for a little help dealing with the weekend's wild weather.

Workers are needed at 9 p.m. on Friday for help with snow shoveling and removal from the paths near the Prospect Park Tennis Center, located at 50 Parkside Ave. near Coney Island Avenue.

Those interested will be compensated $11 per hour through the park's payroll system, so be sure to bring a valid ID, social security card or passport so you can get your check.

If you have your own shovel, the Park asks that you bring it along, as well.

Call Chevoun Anthony at (718) 436-2500 until 5 p.m. for more information. After that, callers should ask for the Front Desk, and specify that you're interested in helping with snow removal.
