Does your art belong in the big leagues? Now's your chance to have it shown at the Brooklyn Museum.
GO, a community-curated art show, empowers the Brooklyn art-loving public to vote on the local work they want to see appear in a special exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum, set to debut on Dec. 1.
Participating artists must have a studio in Brooklyn, and have it open to the public during GO's open studio weekend on Sept. 8 and 9. Registered voters will stop by the studios, and vote on which artist's work they'd like to see appear in the exhibition.
The deadline for artist registration is coming up fast—participants must enter by Friday, June 29. Voter registration opens on Aug. 1.
So far, 1128 artists in 67 neighborhoods around the borough have registered, according to GO's website.
Visit the GO website to register, and for more information on the event.
