Hamilton's Confirmed for Oct. 11 Opening

The new Fort Hamilton Parkway restaurant will open its doors to the hungry masses at 5 p.m.

It's Hamilton's time.

The new Fort Hamilton Parkway eatery—run by the owners of Park Slope's Alchemy—is set to open its doors on Oct. 11 at 5 p.m.

The restaurant will feature a full dinner menu and respectable selection of beer and wine, and will seat around 60 people inside and another 20 out front.

The space, located at 2826 Fort Hamilton Pkwy., was formerly occupied by The Oak and the Iris, a spacious cafe that shuttered in May after failing to attract sufficient business.

Kevin Read, who owns Hamilton's with his wife, Georgia, is confident the new venture will be a success.
