With its gloomy brick exterior and heavy wood doors, the building at 248 Prospect Park West is perfectly suited to its former purpose.
But a "For Rent" sign and various Department of Buildings work permits stuck to the outside mean the ominous space may soon have a second chance at life.
Though rumors abound that a Rite Aid will take over, a spokesman for the drug store chain said he has no knowledge of such a plan.
