The Fate of Pavilion Theater?

What could be a neighborhood gem is becoming a neighborhood headache.

The Pavilion has seen better days.

Not only was the theater slammed recently for, but according to the blog F*cked in Park Slope, it recently oversold tickets to the premiere of the blockbuster hit Hunger Games, apparently turning away ticket holders at the door.

The more than 80-year-old theater last year, promising not only renovations to the theater itself, but a cafe and programming expanded to include operas and art movies.

Yet the theater's poor reputation seems only to be getting worse. We want to know: What can be done to save the Pavilion theater? Is it even worth saving? Tell us in the comments.
