Weeknight cooking is the endless challenge for those with full-time jobs: You're torn between whipping up a healthy meal for your family and handing them a frozen burrito so you can plod off to watch Mad Men reruns. Will there ever be a solution?
Thanks to a new class at Brooklyn Commune, the answer is yes. Led by tABLE Health, a local business that emphasizes sustainable and nutritiously-focused cooking, participants can learn how to put together a quick, healthy meal—even after a hectic day at the office.
The class, which costs $60 per person, will offer attendees tips on everything from shopping and storage to preparation, as well as suggestions for a week's worth of menu items that will appeal to even the pickiest eaters. Cooking demonstrations and hands-on recipe preparation will make the experience fun and interactive for everyone.
The class will be held on July 15 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at . Click here to register.
