A new vet is available for housecalls in the area, and she'll be at Brooklyn Commune tomorrow for a free event. Dr. Elisabetta Coletti, a Windsor Terrace neighbor, just started the housecall veterinary business, and "Meet the Vet" event will be a great way to get to know her.
She says she will do free brief exams, talk to kids about pet care, have balloon animals and toy doctor bags with toy stethoscopes, thermometers etc for the kids to "examine" their own pets.
Dr. Coletti also visits schools and local churches offering such free community outreach, and she volunteers her surgical services with the Sean Casey Animal Rescue as well. She is committed to being a creative, fun, vital resource for our community's families. Be sure to stop by and say hello tomorrow!
