It is almost time to plant spring bulbs, and this year the Daffodil Project will take place in Kensington as well. Thank you all who requested bulbs for your street, block or corner. A bunch of neighbors are planning to plant in the tree pits along Church on Saturday, October 23 - more information by emailing southslopema [at] yahoo.com.
Some of the new trees though did not make it through the hottest Summer in New York and will need to be replaced.
