New Sketch of Serial Sexual Assult Suspect

Police just released a sketch of the suspect (above, top) in the 12th sexual assault case that took place on Vanderbilt Street in Windsor Terrace on Sunday night. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 20 and 25 years old, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, with a medium build and black hair and a mole on the left side of his neck.

In the list of 12 related incidents from the NYPD, there's one that occurred in the 66th precinct, but no details on exactly where. On Tuesday, September 13, at about 2:30am, a 19-year-old woman was approached by the suspect, who exited a bronze Ford minivan, groped her, then fled. The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 30s, about 5-foot-7, 175 pounds, medium build, with a thin mustache and dark pushed back hair with a cap.

Additionally, an arrest was made in the Monday night Sunset Park attack. Adolfo Martinez, 26, is charged with forcible touching and sexual abuse after police say he groped a woman who had just left the 36th Street N/R station. It's unclear yet if Martinez is connected to any other attacks, according to ABC.

Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to CRIMES (274637), then enter TIP577. Police say all calls are kept strictly confidential.
