The Early Word: Connie's Returns After Brief Closure

What you need to know, pre-coffee.

1. Connie's Cafe and Restaurant is back! by the Commissioner of Health and Mental Hygiene for operating without a permit, the restaurant is back from the brink and open for business once more.

2. A cat named Ziggy has been missing from his Kensington home since Saturday. Ziggy is described by his owner as gray with white markings, with a tendency to act skittish outside. His owner suspects that the cat could have become accidentally locked in a garage or basement, and is asking anyone within a one block radius of East 3rd Street and Caton Avenue to make sure they aren't inadvertently holding the little guy hostage.

3. Local music instructor Miss Katie still has room available in her Wednesday afternoon and Friday morning music classes, which begin on April 18th. The classes—geared toward tots ages 8 months to 4-years-old—explore children's innate musicality witht the help of parents and caregivers. Visit Miss Katie's website for more info.
