Week in Review: June 17 - 24

A look back at the notable events of the past week.

Happy Sunday, everyone. Here's our weekly rundown of what happened over the past few days.

Monday: 

The city is easing up on alternate side parking restrictions around Community Board 7. The plan has entered its second stage, to see where restrictions have been lifted in the coming weeks as the city implements the new signage. 

Tuesday:

A petition is now circulating around Windsor Terrace to prevent Walgreens from taking over the space formerly occupied by the now-shuttered Key Food.

Wednesday:

The worst of the heat is hopefully behind us (for now), but it's never too late to bone-up on how to .

Thursday:

after he bumped into another man, causing him to drop his computer, police said. The victim was transported to Lutheran Hospital, where as of Thursday he was in stable condition. The suspect fled down Ocean Parkway, and no arrests have been made.

Friday:

The Department of Transportation is working to make Bartel-Pritchard Square safer. Read the full list of safety improvements in the works
