Teen Battle Chefs Face off For Final Time on Saturday

The eight-week competition is culminating in one last match.

It's time for the competitors of Teen Battle Chef to face off for their final contest of the season.

After eight weeks of training, two teams of local high school students will engage in their ultimate challenge this Saturday in the P.S. 230 cafeteria.

Each team of teens will be tasked with cooking a meal for “celebrity judges” from the neighborhood. The team with the most appealing salad, main course and dessert will be awarded the coveted blue ribbon.

Sponsored by the office of Councilman Brad Lander, D-Park Slope, in partnership with Family Cook Productions, the competition sought to groom budding gourmands, teaching them to hone their healthy cooking and teamwork skills.

The competition will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 23 in the cafeteria of P.S. 230, located at 1 Albemarle Rd.
