Sidewalk Run-in Ends in Stabbing

The suspect allegedly stabbed a man after he bumped into him.

A man was stabbed on Tuesday evening outside of 214 Ditmas Ave. after accidentally knocking a computer out of another man's hands, police said.

The victim was walking along Ditmas Avenue around 8:20 p.m. when he bumped into a man carrying a computer. The computer fell to the ground, and the man carrying it allegedly responded by punching the other man in the face.

The victim fell to the ground, and as he tried to stand, the suspect procured a knife and stabbed him in the abdomen. The suspect then fled down Ocean Parkway. The victim was transported to Lutheran Hospital, where he remains in stable condition.

The suspect is described as being between 25 and 30-years-old. No arrests have been made.
