Minor Injuries After Fire Sweeps Windsor Place Home

Blaze broke out just before 2:51 a.m. Sunday in three-story wood-frame house.

A person sustained minor injuries after a blaze broke out in a Windsor Place home.

The fire broke out just on the third floor just before 2:51 a.m. at 41 Windsor Place, between Seventh and Eighth avenues, an FDNY spokesman said.

Twelve fire trucks and about 60 men fought the flames in the wood-frame building, which were put under control at 2:51 a.m.

It was not immediately clear whether the injured person was treated at the scene or taken to a hospital.
