Too Far? New Lhota Ad Links DeBlasio With Biker Melee
The gist: Electing the Democrat will cause crime to spike in the city.
Republican candidate for New York City mayor Joe Lhota has released his scariest attack ad to date. The ad, called ‘Can’t Go Back,' started airing in New York City on Wednesday and features video from the Sept. 29 biker gang attack on an SUV on the West Side Highway.
The gist: Electing Democrat DeBlasio will cause crime to spike in the city.
The ad comes after the candidates squared off in a tense mayoral debate, where aggressive attacks from DeBlasio kept the Republican, Lhota, on his heels.
