Hamptons Agenda: Alec Baldwin & Billy Joel, Teresa Giudice, Bill Evans

Big names are hitting the Hamptons this weekend with benefits and book signings galore, Big Sam's Funky Nation brings jazz sounds of New Orleans to the East End, and "My Brilliant Divorce" wraps its final weekend.

Now that it's summer, scores of lucky Brooklynites will be taking time away from city life to enjoy the more bucolic pleasures of Long Island. Here's a rundown of the best events happening this weekend.

Amagansett

MUSIC: will be performing at Stephen Talkhouse on Friday at 8 p.m. Their blend of jazz, rock and funk music landed them a recurring role on HBO's "Treme," and they have played at music festivals such as the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival, Bonnaroo Arts & Music Festival, and Gathering of the Vibes, just to name a few. East Hampton

BENEFIT: will be held on Saturday at 6 p.m.  Live Out Loud is a non-profit organization that's mission is inspiring and empowering LGBT youth with connecting them with successful LGBT role models in their community. The evening's benefit will be held at the East Hampton waterfront and private residence of Bruce T. Sloane, on 21 North Bay Lane, and will offer cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, music, and a silent auction. Advance sales are $150 for general admission or $300 with a buffet dinner. THEATER: Guild Hall presents a comedy written by Murray Schisgal, under the direction of Lonny Price that stars Kahan James, Robert Stanton, and Jennifer Regan. Two misfit college friends, Harry and Milt, are reunited when one stops the other from jumping off a bridge. They reconnect by sharing their hard-on-luck stories, and Harry comes to be the solution to Milt's biggest problem. Weekend performances run Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m.

TRUNK SHOW: Everything But Water, East Hampton, is hosting a Designer Trunk Show featuring , from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Everything But Water is a swim and resortwear retailer located at 66 Newtown Lane that has large cabana style fitting rooms to provide each customer with their own private area to find that perfect suit. Complimentary personal appointments are available.

AUTHOR TALK: , author of "About Schmidt" will discuss his newest installment, "Schmidt Steps Back," at BookHampton in East Hampton at 5 p.m  Admission is free.

AUTHOR TALK: Authors come to BookHampton in East Hampton, Sunday at 2 p.m.  Sheldon is a Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway lyricist for shows like "Fiddler on the Roof." Margery is an actress, painter, dancer, and photographer. Together, they come to discuss their book, "The Outdoor Museum," a collaboration of photography and verse. Admission is free for this event.

ART SHOW: "Planters On and Off the Ground," LongHouse's invitational garden exhibit, will take place Saturday between 4:30 and 7 p.m. Ribbon presentation by jurors — chef and author Ina Garten, artist April Gornik and architect Fred Stelle — starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20, $10 for LongHouse members.

Sagaponack

BENEFIT:  will celebrate their 40th anniversary with special guests Alec Baldwin and Billy Joel at from 6 to 11 p.m. The evening's events include cocktails and a silent auction that begins at 6 p.m., followed by dinner catered by Brent Newsom at 7:30 p.m. There will be a live auction and music by DJ Tom Finn. All proceeds will benefit the Group for the East End's education and advocacy programs.  Tickets for this event start at $500 and can be purchased by calling 631-765-6450 ext. 215.

Bridgehampton

BENEFIT: will take place on the grounds of the Hayground School in Bridgehampton, a benefit event that supports the American Heart Association. This year, Bill Hemmer, an anchor for Fox News Channel will serve as master of ceremonies. Evening festivities will include, heart healthy food, local wines, live music by That '70s Band, and a live and silent auction will take place. Kevin O'Connor, the CEO of Bridgehampton National Bank, will serve as the event chair, and the night will honor Jeffrey Moses, M.D., and Layne Lieberman-Liebelson, R.D., a nationally renowned food expert and nutritionist. Sag Harbor

THEATER: wraps their American premiere run of "."  Polly Draper stars in the play, a comedy written by Geraldine Aron under the direction of Matt McGrath. This one woman show tells the story of Angela, who has been left to cope with a disapproving mother, a shifty attorney, and a bad case of hypochondria after her irritating British husband takes off. See it Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 8 p.m., or Sunday at 7 p.m.

AUTHOR TALK:  comes to BookHampton in Sag Harbor at 6 p.m. for a "Town Hall" Q&A. For more information call, 631-725-8425. Admission for this event is free.

POETRY READINGS: come to BookHampton in Sag Harbor at 4 p.m., and will present the audience with an afternoon of verse as they read from their work. Admission for this event is free.

Southampton

AUTHOR TALK:  , the WABC-TV Channel 7 Eyewitness News senior meteorologist and author, will be at BookHampton in Southampton, at 4 p.m. to discuss his book, "It's Raining Fish and Spiders."  Evans is a New York Times-bestselling author for his book, Category 7, and is a 12-time Emmy Award-winning weather anchor. BENEFIT: The Rogers Memorial Library Foundation hosts its featuring Sag Harbor's Grammy-nominated Judy Carmichael, with The Judy Carmichael Trio, performing an evening of stride piano and swing on Sunday.  The concert begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by a cocktail reception at 7:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Rogers Memorial Library and proceeds from the evening's fundraiser will benefit renovations and upgrades to the library's Teen Department and the ‘Tween’ section of the Family Department. Westhampton Beach

AUTHOR TALK: , star of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," and New York Times bestselling author will be at Books & Books in Westhampton Beach on Saturday at 2 p.m. to discuss her new book, "Fabulicious: Fast & Fit." Admission is free for this event.

MUSIC: , a five-time Grammy Award-winning musician will be at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center performing an evening of blues with his band on Saturday at 8 p.m.  Tickets are $85 and can be purchased by calling 631-288-2350.
